Kreative Kampfkunst: Mit Bauernwaffen gegen japanische Besetzung

Im 16. Jahrhundert wurde die Insel Okinawa von Japanern besetzt. Weder Schwerter, noch andere Waffen durften die Inselbewohner laut den Besatzungsregeln tragen. Um sich den Samurai nicht kampflos auszuliefern, wurden die Bewohner kreativ. Bauern und Fischer erfanden neue Waffensysteme, die landwirtschaftliche Geräte und Alltagsgegenstände zur Basis hatten. Dreschflegel wurden zum Nunchaku. Einfache Stöcke wurden zum Bo. Das Tonfa verließ seinen Platz als Mühlensteinkurbel und wurde zur Waffe. Blocks und Stellungen der neuen Kobudo-Kampfkunst entstammen dem gleichzeitig entstandenen Karate. Im Laufe der Jahre entwickelten sich aus der ursprünglichen Karate-Kobudo-Einheit zwei unterschiedliche Kampfkünste mit jeweils verschiedenen Einzelstilen.

 

 

Die besten Bauernwaffen: Diese Kobudo-Waffen dürfen nicht fehlen

Mit diesen Kobudo-Waffen hast du gute Chancen zum Sieger zu werden:

 

  • Bōs (Schlagstöcke) in Form von rund 60 Zentimeter langen Tambōs und bis zu 100 Zentimeter langen Hanbōs. Mit Unterarten wie dem achteckigen Hakkaku-Bō oder dem Rundstock Maru-Bō stehen dir auch verschiedene Formgebungen offen.
  • Jos (hölzerne Gehstöcke) wurden meist aus Harthölzern wie Eiche gefertigt, mittlerweile werden Jos auch in Leichtmaterialien wie Bambus angeboten.
  • Paddel, wie Fischer sie in Form von Eiku, Kai, Wēku und Sunakake-bo im Kampf verwendeten.
  • Saigabeln mit Dreizack-ähnlicher Gestalt, wie sie die Fischer Okinawas ursprünglich zum Fischfang benutzten.
  • Nunchaku, bestehend aus zwei schnurverbundenen Stöcke, wie sie ursprünglich als kurze Dreschflegel im Einsatz waren.
  • Suruchins im Sinne zweier schnurverbundener Gewichte.
  • Tekkō-Schlagringe aus Hartmaterialien.
  • Tonfas in Form eines Mühlsteinsteingriffs, ähnlich wie ein Polizeischlagstock.
