This makes the Tough Runner up to 8 times more durable than conventional socks (this has been tested and confirmed by an independent laboratory according to Japanese industry standards).
The heel cap and toe area are additionally reinforced, yet the sock is thinner than comparable socks. Anti-slip zones are applied to the sole.
Due to the special composition of the textile, however, the fabric is permeable to moisture from the inside out, which counteracts sweaty feet and odour formation. The cotton used (high quality organic cotton) is environmentally friendly and free from chemicals, making it very kind to the skin and extremely well tolerated.
